Subjects: Mechatronics
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Wind turbines, airbags, quadcopters, and industrial robots are prime examples of how computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering converge in mechatronics. This field isn't just about combining parts from these disciplines. Mechatronics involves integrating these areas from the very beginning of the development process. By thinking and acting in an interdisciplinary manner, we can create innovative products that meet the demands of today's industrial and information society. This approach ensures that the final product is more than the sum of its parts, offering advanced functionality and efficiency. In studying mechatronics, students delve into subjects like robotics, control systems, and embedded systems. Programs such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science provide the foundational knowledge needed. These programs emphasize the importance of merging these disciplines to foster innovation and meet modern technological needs. By focusing on this integrated approach, we can develop cutting-edge solutions that are both effective and efficient. This method not only enhances the functionality of products but also ensures they are well-suited to the evolving demands of our society.
