Course description

Students enrolled in this Master's programme will master the art of conducting independent academic research in the dynamic and interdisciplinary realm of Molecular Life Sciences. They will delve into critical topics in genetics, cell biology, and developmental biology, engaging in thorough discussions and analyses. The core of these analyses lies in molecular network analyses across various levels, including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. In the first year, students will undertake three advanced courses in developmental biology, cell biology, molecular genetics, systems biology, and biophysics, alongside the essential core courses required for all participants. Moving into the second year, students will deepen their expertise in a chosen specialisation area. This will be achieved through an internship focused on methods and a project internship dedicated to directed research. This programme is designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities in the field of Molecular Life Sciences.
