Course description
Welcome to the Biology Center at the University of Kiel (CAU)! We are excited to introduce you to our new Master’s program in Molecular Biology and Evolution (MAMBE). This international curriculum, taught entirely in English, starts every winter semester. Our program is a result of a strong partnership with the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology in Plön. We also collaborate with the Leibniz Science Campus EvoLUNG, focusing on the Evolutionary Medicine of the Lung, and the Collaborative Research Center 1182, which explores the Origin and Molecular Function of Metaorganisms. This unique combination of evolution and biology has proven to be a highly successful interdisciplinary research field. However, it has not been widely available in academic education until now. Join us to explore these exciting areas and be part of a program that bridges cutting-edge research and academic excellence.
