Course description
The BA Graphic Design & Visual Communication program equips students with the expertise to create innovative and responsible design solutions. Our instruction is in English, and we maintain strong connections with Berlin’s dynamic creative industries, ensuring our graduates are ready for diverse, international careers. Through hands-on projects, students engage in the full design process. They start with research and idea generation, move through concept evaluation and project development, and finish with technical implementation. These projects span both analog and digital media. Students design apps, animations, augmented and virtual reality experiences, books, magazines, campaigns, brand identities, posters, and websites. They also learn to present their ideas effectively across various media. Our curriculum covers a wide range of study subjects, ensuring a comprehensive education in graphic design and visual communication. This approach prepares students to thrive in the ever-evolving design landscape.
