Course description
Our MA programme will expand your understanding of the many uses of photography. You'll gain insight into contemporary art practices and requirements, enhancing both your artistic and professional potential. Our curriculum encourages you to explore the importance of the photographic medium within cultural, political, and social contexts. You'll develop a unique vision while engaging with current trends in art and design. You'll also learn to articulate your work with advanced fluency, framing your practice in historical and critical contexts. By the time you graduate with the Master’s in Photography, you'll have the skills to think conceptually and bring your ideas to life in artistic and practical projects using cutting-edge technology.

Visual & Experience Design Up to 10 examples of your best creative work – commercial and/or non-commercial. The programme accepts applicants from a wide variety of fields including graphic/communication design, advertising, digital product design, architecture, fine arts, exhibition design, visual and sound design, etc. Innovation Design Management A portfolio with work samples is welcome but only required from individuals with a design background. Additionally, we ask for responses to some questions explaining why this programme is the best fit for you. Photography Your portfolio should consist of at least 20 photos. It is particularly desirable to see from the selection of images, that the applicant works on thematically coherent series. New Media Design Submit 10 diverse examples highlighting expertise in creative fields like architecture, visual communication, product and game design, exhibition-making, interior design, sound & motion design, event installation, and performance. Include both digital (creative coding) and analog works (collage, sculpture, animation), each with a brief description of your process. Communication Design A portfolio with samples of work is welcome but not required, only from students who have previously completed a creative degree programme. Design Leadership A portfolio with work samples is welcome but only required from individuals with a design background. Additionally, we ask for responses to some questions explaining why this programme is the best fit for you. Digital Content Creation A portfolio with work samples is welcome but only required from individuals with a design background. Additionally, we ask for responses to some questions explaining why this programme is the best fit for you. Generative Design & AI Prepare up to 10 examples of your best creative work. The Generative Design & AI programme accepts applicants from a wide variety of fields, but is most suited to those who already have a digital design background. Due to the technical nature of the programme, coding skills are a plus, but not necessary for admittance. Please include a CV detailing your education and professional practice.
