Course description

The master’s program in mathematics focuses on research. Building on your initial degree, you will deepen your academic knowledge. You will learn to work independently on academic principles and apply academic methods and findings. This program allows you to specialize in one of several domains. You can choose from analysis, discrete mathematics, algebraic/complex geometry, numerical mathematics, differential geometry, or topology. Each area offers a chance to expand on what you already know and develop new skills. In analysis, you will explore the rigorous study of limits, functions, and integrals. Discrete mathematics covers topics like graph theory and combinatorics. Algebraic/complex geometry delves into the properties of shapes and spaces defined by polynomial equations. Numerical mathematics focuses on algorithms for solving mathematical problems. Differential geometry examines curves and surfaces, while topology studies the properties of space that are preserved under continuous transformations. This program is designed to help you grow as a mathematician. You will gain the tools and knowledge to tackle complex problems and contribute to the field.
