Road Traffic Engineering
Subjects: Road Traffic;Engineering
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Efficient road transport is crucial for the global economy. Yet, the space for new roads is limited. To maintain smooth traffic flow, we need intelligent traffic control systems and robust data communication between infrastructure, drivers, and vehicles. This requires streets to be equipped with advanced information and communication technologies, and road traffic systems to be designed accordingly. As transport projects increasingly span international borders, engineers must communicate effectively in foreign languages, especially English. The Road Traffic Engineering course aims to prepare such professionals for the job market. Graduates can develop and implement complex traffic flow optimization concepts, design road traffic systems that meet telematics standards, and simulate traffic flow. With their practical skills and language proficiency, these specialists can work in international teams and manage global projects. The course equips them to measure and design road traffic systems, ensuring they meet the demands of modern telematics. This makes them valuable assets in the field of road traffic engineering, ready to tackle challenges on a worldwide scale.
