Petroleum Engineering
Subjects: Engineering
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Even as we prioritize climate protection and transition to renewable energy, oil and natural gas remain crucial to our society. Modern oil and gas engineers are evolving traditional petroleum engineering techniques and exploring new applications like energy storage from renewable sources and deep geothermal energy. This progress helps make future energy supplies more eco-friendly. The consecutive master's degree program in Petroleum Engineering offers specialized training in drilling and production technology, reservoir technology, energy storage and distribution, and deep geothermal energy. This program equips students with the skills needed to innovate and improve the sustainability of our energy systems. By focusing on these areas, the program ensures that graduates are prepared to contribute to a more sustainable energy future. The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of both traditional and emerging energy technologies, fostering a new generation of engineers who can lead the way in energy transition.
