Course description
The European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (EMA) is a one-year, full-time course designed to provide a comprehensive, practice-oriented education. This program integrates legal, political, historical, anthropological, and philosophical perspectives on human rights and democratisation. It also includes skill-building activities and a field trip exercise. Students benefit from instruction by leading academics from EMA participating universities, as well as experts and representatives from international organisations and NGOs. The multicultural environment enriches the learning experience. The curriculum equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to work in various settings, including national and international governmental bodies, inter-governmental and non-governmental organisations, and research institutions focused on human rights and democratisation.
