Technical University of Munich
Straubing
Sustainable Management & Technology
Subjects: Sustainability;Technology
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Increasing social interest in sustainability-oriented business, shifts in consumer behavior toward renewable and regenerative products, and stricter environmental and climate regulations have created a market where companies must now excel in climate-neutral and sustainable resource and technology management. This transformation demands specialists with a business education rooted in sustainable concepts, along with expertise in energy and process technology, biotechnology, and material sciences. These skills are essential for redesigning internal production processes to create resource-saving and sustainable supply chains, incorporating circular economy approaches. The goal is to develop comprehensive strategies for using renewable raw materials and waste, evaluating and optimizing their benefits. A global perspective is crucial, as companies compete internationally and must contribute to global sustainability goals. The interdisciplinary master’s program in Sustainable Management and Technology bridges the gap between business and technical areas, training future leaders to understand and shape entrepreneurial developments and their societal and economic impacts with the necessary depth and complexity.
