Course description

How can we secure the world's food supply? How can we conserve natural resources and counter the effects of climate change? With the English-language Agricultural Biosciences degree program at the TUM School of Life Sciences, you will gain the bioscientific expertise and skills needed to tackle these and other pressing challenges of our time. In your studies, you will delve into basic biological research aimed at the efficient and environmentally friendly production of agricultural and horticultural crops and livestock. The Agricultural Biosciences program integrates molecular, biochemical, physiological, genetic, and genomic knowledge, along with quantitative and computational approaches, in a unique, interdisciplinary agricultural science curriculum.
