Course description

Efficient and eco-friendly energy supply is a critical issue of our time. The energy revolution today hinges on innovative ideas for generating, distributing, and consuming energy. The Energy Systems and Renewable Energies degree tackles these challenges head-on. This program dives into climate-friendly power generation, smart distribution systems, and efficient storage solutions. It also explores the role of new prosumers—those who both produce and consume energy—in areas like electromobility and power to heat. Students will study subjects that include intelligent distribution systems, efficient storage systems, and climate-friendly power generation. The course also covers the interaction with prosumers in the context of electromobility and power to heat. By focusing on these areas, the degree aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to drive the energy revolution forward.
