Qualification Requirements
Prerequisite for admission to study at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt is either a general or subject-related higher education entrance qualification or the entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences. In an aptitude assessment procedure, an applicant should prove whether, in addition to the qualification demonstrated by the acquisition of the university entrance qualification, the applicant is also suitable for the special qualitative knowledge and requirements of the Bachelor's programme in Autonomous Vehicle Engineering, which can be expected to lead to a successful course of study. In addition to the university entrance qualification (HZB), the following suitability requirements must be fulfilled for this course of study: strong, solid knowledge of mathematics, in particular the ability to think abstractly, logically and system-oriented and to formalise approaches to solutions competencies in the fields of natural sciences, information technology and technology Aptitude test Aptitude is determined by an evaluation based on the following criteria: average mark of the HZB and subject-specific individual grades The grades in mathematics and two highest rated subjects from the natural sciences, including computer science, which were acquired in the last four semesters prior to the acquisition of higher education entrance qualification are used as subject-specific individual grades. A total score is determine as a weighted average of these grades. If this score is equal or greater 60, suitability shall be deemed to have been established.
