Course description
Our B.A. Film & Motion programme is your gateway to the movie industry. You'll learn to write scripts and produce films from the initial idea to the final screening. We cover camera and editing skills, storytelling, directing, post-production, and digital techniques. You'll also dive into 2D and 3D visualisation. Your curriculum includes film theory, dramaturgy, lighting, and sound technology. You'll explore innovative narrative approaches, interactive campaigns, short films, music clips, and commercials for the big screen. Motion design, a major innovation in the movie industry, is a key part of our programme. Combined with traditional film formats, it offers a unique study experience. You'll gain professional skills in directing, camera techniques, editing, and post-production. Join us to master the art of filmmaking and motion design.

Qualification Requirements
General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife). In case you have not graduated yet, please apply with your existing transcripts or your latest interim certificate. However, we need your final degree certificate before you can start your studies. Please note that applicants with foreign degrees might be eligible for direct entry. This means that applicants who meet the requirements DON'T need to do a foundation year before starting their Bachelor's. Portfolio with about 2 - 3 works from the cinematic field (e.g. script, scenic sketches, storyboard or links to finished works on Vimeo or YouTube) - please refer to the guidelines Proof of English language proficiency CV Copy of your identity card or passport
