Course description
The master’s program in Sustainable Landscape Design and Development delves into landscape design and development, integrating social, ecological, and aesthetic aspects. Starting in fall 2021, the first semester courses will be conducted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the first two semesters, you will enhance your knowledge through compulsory courses in the first semester and elective courses in the second semester. This period is intensive and includes additional projects and excursion modules (Extra Muros). The third semester involves an internship, providing practical experience in real-world settings. In the fourth semester, you will complete your master thesis, culminating in your graduation.

A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in landscape architecture or in a related field such as architecture, urban planning, environmental planning, etc. with a grade point average of at least 2.3 in Germany

How can you demonstrate your motivation of participating in the SLDD master’s program (i.e. experiences from prior bachelor’s program, internships, design and planning competitions, or other professional experience)? What are your expectations for the SLDD master’s program and of your future profession? Which professional developments are you seeking during the program and the internship and what qualification are you aiming to acquire after your graduation?
