M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
The Double Degree Master in Sustainability and Environmental Psychology, offered in collaboration with the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, delves into the intricate relationship between human behavior and sustainable development. This program uniquely combines the study of human perception and behavior with the interaction between people and their natural and built environments. By integrating these perspectives, the program offers profound insights into the psychological processes driving the shift towards intersectional and intergenerational justice. It addresses social, economic, and environmental challenges in the journey towards sustainability, emphasizing a psychological viewpoint on human actions and perceptions during this transition. Key areas of focus include problem-solving, decision-making, self-regulation, social identification, attitude change, and conflict resolution. These psychological processes are crucial in shaping the quality of life for current and future generations. The program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to understand and influence these dynamics, fostering a more sustainable and just world.
