Course description
The Joint Master of Arts in European History, established in 2012, is an engaging interdisciplinary and comparative Master’s program. It offers a choice among 10 partner universities situated in 9 major European capitals. The Humboldt-Universität in Berlin coordinates this program. This full-time course spans four semesters. During this period, students have the unique chance to study at up to two or three of the partner universities. In these vibrant academic environments, students will hone their ability to understand historical issues, identify key debates, and present their own conclusions. Participants will gain both knowledge and academic skills. They will learn methods to develop, implement, and assess their own approaches to solving historiographical problems and questions. This program equips students with the tools needed to tackle complex historical inquiries and contribute meaningfully to the field of European history.
