Course description

The Energy Systems Engineering and Management course provides students with essential knowledge in both engineering and management, crucial for understanding and advancing energy systems towards sustainability. The curriculum begins with foundational studies in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, and computer science. As students progress, they delve into energy-focused classes alongside business and engineering courses. In dynamic and supportive hands-on labs, students apply their learning practically. Collaborations with industry partners through projects allow them to tackle real-world energy and environmental challenges. The course covers how energy is generated, stored, distributed, and used efficiently and in an eco-friendly manner. Students contribute to the sustainable transformation of energy systems. They learn to optimize current energy concepts and design new energy supply options, considering raw material availability, environmental impact reduction, and energy industry pricing mechanisms. This comprehensive approach equips them to make meaningful contributions to the field of energy systems engineering and management.
