Course description
The LAS program provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary education, allowing students to tailor their studies to their interests. The Core curriculum, comprising 56 ECTS, emphasizes the reflection on knowledge and sciences, which is crucial for interdisciplinary learning. It also includes courses on Responsibility and Leadership, along with general academic skills training. In the Electives section, which accounts for 64 ECTS, students have the freedom to choose from a wide range of courses and can even embark on their own study projects. The Major, totaling 102 ECTS plus an additional 16 ECTS for Multidisciplinarity, focuses on specialized training in a specific academic field. The program offers four Majors: Environmental and Sustainability Sciences, Life Sciences, Governance, and Culture and History. LAS equips students with the intellectual flexibility to navigate various disciplines and apply their skills to complex academic and practical problems. It prepares them for careers in international settings that require quick and efficient adaptation to diverse and challenging situations. Moreover, students will learn to continue their intellectual growth confidently and responsibly after graduation, both in their careers and beyond.
