Qualification Requirements
For admission to the Master's program, applicants must demonstrate the following requirements: Have a first university degree (e.g. Bachelor) of at least 180 credit points (ECTS). As part of this degree, you must have earned at least 30 ECTS in courses in East Asian Studies and/or Chinese, Japanese or Korean Studies (language courses not included). The master's program in Global East Asia is an English-language master's program. Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency at the C1 level (CEFR). To find out which test procedures and results are recognized by the admissions committee, please visit the program's departmental website. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in one of the following languages (at least level B1 CEFR or equivalent): Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
