Qualification Requirements
) have concluded a Bachelor's degree in Economic sciences with a major in Economics at TU Dresden b) or a university degree recognised as being equivalent for which at least 90% of achievements have been acquired at a state-recognised university and c) can prove the acquisition of at least 33 credits (ECTS) of not intersecting content from the area of Economics and of at least 30 credits (ECTS) from the following course catalogue: • other areas of economic sciences (especially business administration, economic geography, economic history and business informatics) of at least 15 credit points (ECTS) of not intersecting content, • mathematics, statistics, and quantitative/qualitative procedures of at least 15 credits (ECTS) of not intersecting content.
Document Requirements
• Application for the suitability assessment on the website of the faculty • curriculum vitae, outlining in particular your academic career to date, • a motivation letter, explaining your desire to study and particular aptitude, • two references who, if asked, can provide information about your particular suitability, • copies of additional certificates and evidence (module descriptions or similar summaries of content) which prove your special aptitude according to § 5, • proof of the required English language skills. This can take the form of: a) certificate of general or subject-specific university entrance qualification that serves as evidence of having learned English as a foreign language in at least 6 grades b) certificate of university entrance qualification taken completely in English or a certificate of higher education for a degree program completed entirely in English, as well as c) language certificates, such as TOEFL (with a score of at least 72) or IELTS (with a score of at least 5.5).
