Course description
The Dresden International University (DIU) Master’s Program in Clinical Research (MPCR) offers comprehensive training in clinical research methodology and practice. This program fosters an international community of medical scientists, emphasizing teamwork, creativity, innovative thinking, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The "Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR)" is a nine-month distance-learning program provided by the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. Through our partnership with Harvard, DIU acknowledges all grades and achievements from the PPCR program as equivalent to ECTS credits. Graduates of the PPCR course can seamlessly transition into our Master’s program, reducing their study duration. Ultimately, students earn a Master of Science (M. Sc.) degree from Dresden International University. Our teaching approach is collaborative. Lecturers work alongside students to generate new ideas, formulate research questions, and develop innovative thinking strategies. This close, open relationship between students and teachers fosters a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas and helps build a strong professional network.
