Step 1 - Find your Study Program
Berlin School of Economics and Law
Berlin
FACT | Finance, Accounting, Controlling & Taxation
Subjects: Finance;Accounting
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
The master's programme targets talented and ambitious graduates with a bachelor's degree in business and economics. It prepares them for key roles in finance, accounting, controlling, and taxation. This consecutive degree programme integrates these interconnected disciplines and offers a variety of options to cater to individual student interests. Building on the bachelor's degree, the programme covers complex topics in business administration through interactive teaching. It emphasizes interdisciplinary connections and a solid scientific foundation with practical relevance. The four core disciplines are complemented by courses in business law, ERP systems, and quantitative methods. Additionally, courses in scientific writing, data analysis, and quantitative-empirical methods thoroughly prepare students for their master's thesis. This newly designed programme merges the previous FACT and Accounting and Controlling programmes. It has an international focus and can be completed entirely in English. Small, international student groups foster intensive professional and intercultural exchange. Practical relevance is ensured by professors with real-world experience and guest lecturers from the business sector. Students can write their master's thesis in either German or English.
