The two-year European Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems Engineering, known as FOOD4S “food force,” is a collaborative effort by four European institutions: KU Leuven in Gent, University College in Dublin, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen/Bernburg, and the Catholic University of Portugal in Porto. This MSc program dives deep into sustainable food production and processing, agri-business, and quantitative methods like predictive modeling and risk assessment. It takes a horizontal, methodological, and multidisciplinary approach to these subjects. Students will explore a broad range of topics, ensuring they gain a comprehensive understanding of sustainable food systems.
