Subjects: Economics
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
The Master of Science in Economics (M.Sc.) at the Schumpeter School is designed with an integrative, research-focused approach. The program includes both compulsory and elective modules, complemented by three selected seminars and a thesis. Students must complete four compulsory courses and choose three elective modules based on their interests. The "Applied Economics" program equips graduates for roles in international organizations and multinational companies within the global economic landscape. It blends theoretical, institutional, and empirical analysis, emphasizing real-world issues and the global economy. This program is conducted in English and offers two specializations: International Economic Policy (IEP) and Empirical Analysis (AE). Both specializations share a common methodological foundation and are research-oriented. Students develop essential skills for modern economists, such as independently evaluating and analyzing data and deriving policy recommendations grounded in solid theoretical knowledge.
