Course description
The Master in International Business offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to deepen your understanding of global commerce. Alongside three individual electives, you will engage in nine core courses that cover essential areas of business knowledge. These courses include International Strategy, International Trade and Investment, Managerial Economics, International Marketing Management, International Accounting, Modern Tools and Applications of Data Science, Managing the Global Supply Chain, International Business Negotiations, and the Psychology of Leadership. To bridge theory with practice, you will also complete an internship. This hands-on experience will help you build a professional network and enhance your job prospects. The practical insights gained during your internship will be invaluable as you work on your master's thesis, allowing you to apply the knowledge and skills you've acquired throughout the program.

You should submit any one of the following test scores by May 31, 2024: TOEFL iBT test with an overall score of at least 100 (WHU Code: 0682) IELTS (academic) with an overall score of at least 7.0 Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) of at least Grade C Cambridge Certificate of Advance in English (CAE) of Grade A We also accept the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition that you can take online Proof of English proficiency is not required if your first language is English, or your Bachelor program was completed entirely in English. In this case, proof from your university is required
Qualification Requirements
For our Master in International Business Program, we seek Bachelor graduates with a degree in any field of study and who demonstrate an appropriate background in a business-related area, e.g. through electives, thesis, relevant internship or work experience. It is possible to apply with your current transcript of records from your bachelor’s studies, should you not have received your bachelor’s degree yet. Please include a document that indicates courses that are not included in the transcript that you are currently taking or will take in the future. Please note that we only accept applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least 180 ECTS. If you graduated outside of Germany, your university should be listed as “H+” at Anabin, which means that the institution is seen as equivalent to a German institute of higher education. GMAT score of at least 600 or 555 GMAT Focus Edition (WHU Code: FBR-FH-93) We accept valid GMAT scores achieved through either the classic or new Focus edition equally. GRE of at least 158 Verbal and 158 Quantitative. TM-BASE of at least 102 (must be completed in English. Please sign up for the test at the TM-WISO Website).

Proof of internships/work placements stating duration, position title, and responsibilities If you are planning to complete the required period of internship between your application submission and the enrollment at WHU, please submit a copy of the internship contract.
