Course description
The Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design Master’s degree program, offered by the University of Stuttgart in collaboration with Ain Shams University in Cairo, focuses on international urban planning. This specialization is crucial as rapid urbanization and social and ecological changes present new challenges globally. IUSD aims to cultivate a new generation of experts and decision-makers who can create holistic solutions for urban development's ecological, cultural, and social issues. Qualification Requirements
a degree in a bachelor's degree program lasting at least six semesters (or equivalent degree) in the courses of architecture, urban planning, Landscape architecture, spatial planning, civil engineering, geography, urban sociology, social sciences, cultural studies, political sciences, Economics or a degree program that is closely related in terms of content above-average examination results at a German university or equivalent university, technical college or vocational academy, their degree equivalent to a university of applied sciences qualification. With a degree in Geography, urban sociology, social sciences, cultural studies, Political science, economics or something closely related in terms of content Study program must demonstrate a subject-relevant specialization that leads to a Study in the master's program Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design.
