Course description

The master's program in European-American Studies at the University of Regensburg spans four semesters and is both interdisciplinary and internationally focused. It delves deeply into European-American relations, exploring their historical and contemporary contexts. The curriculum covers a range of subjects, including politics, history, economics, literature, culture, and language, all examined from a transatlantic-comparative perspective. This consecutive degree program emphasizes the development of academic and research skills specific to European-American relations. It also includes an internship, providing practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge. Language Requirements

For the master's program, English language skills must be demonstrated that correspond to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Applicants who did not obtain their first degree or university entrance qualification at a German-speaking institution must demonstrate basic knowledge of the German language by the end of the first year of study at the latest. This proof must be provided through language courses (basic courses) comprising at least 120 teaching hours.

Qualification Requirements

The master's degree program does not have any admission restrictions; However, in order to be able to enroll, you must pass a so-called aptitude test.
