The MA British, American, and Postcolonial Studies Program is now open for applications! You can submit your application between May 1 and July 15. All the necessary requirements are detailed on the "Apply" page. To be eligible, you need a BA degree in English Studies or a related field, along with excellent English skills, which must be documented by a language certificate. For more information on the application process, refer to the Application Submission Overview. Recently, first-semester students in the MA British, American, and Postcolonial Studies Program had the chance to visit the university's Rare Books Reading Room. They viewed early printed books as part of the introductory Book Studies course, Text, Book, and Culture. This course explores the role of books and texts in cultural history. Book Studies is one of the three core areas of the MA BAPS program. Notably, the WWU is the only university in Germany offering Book Studies with an Anglophone focus.
