Course description

In the interdisciplinary program that explores the entire bio-based value chain and networks, students delve into the ecological, social, and economic aspects of the bioeconomy on both micro and macro levels. They also learn to address the innovation needs of organizations within the bio-based economy and understand the political frameworks that support these innovations. Throughout their studies, students engage with subjects such as ecological sustainability, social impact, and economic viability. They gain insights into how these elements interact within the bioeconomy. The program emphasizes practical knowledge and critical thinking, preparing students to contribute effectively to the field. By examining the requirements for innovation, students learn to anticipate the needs of bio-based organizations.
