Course description

Mathematics and physics are deeply intertwined. Mathematics offers tools to tackle various physics problems. Conversely, advanced physical theories like quantum mechanics and string theory drive the creation of new mathematical concepts. This international program in mathematical physics bridges both fields, letting students enhance their math skills and collaborate in research teams. Participants can choose to concentrate on either math or physics. The program, taught in English, is a joint effort by the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Physics.
