Course description

The Master of Science in Biological Sciences program focuses on research. Students will gain a solid foundation in research-oriented biological science. This comprehensive program allows students to specialize in various fields. These include Mechanisms of Aging and Aging Associated Diseases, Computational Biology, Ecology, Evolution, and Environment, Molecular and Developmental Genetics, Neurobiology: Genes, Circuits, and Behavior, and Molecular Plant and Microbial Sciences. In the Mechanisms of Aging and Aging Associated Diseases specialization, students explore the biological processes behind aging and related diseases. Computational Biology offers tools and techniques for analyzing biological data. Ecology, Evolution, and Environment covers the interactions between organisms and their environments. Molecular and Developmental Genetics delves into the genetic mechanisms that drive development and heredity. Neurobiology: Genes, Circuits, and Behavior examines the genetic and neural bases of behavior. Molecular Plant and Microbial Sciences focuses on the molecular biology of plants and microbes. Each specialization provides in-depth knowledge and research skills, preparing students for advanced careers in biological sciences.
