The international Master's program "Materials Chemistry and Mineralogy" covers a wide array of natural materials. In this program, students delve into the study of various subjects. The mineralogy profile emphasizes the understanding of inorganic, non-metallic materials, both natural and synthetic. On the other hand, the chemistry profile covers a broad spectrum, including solid-state chemistry, macro- and supramolecular materials, and nanostructured surfaces. It also focuses on the structural characterization of these materials, examining their volume and surface properties in detail. Without a good command of the German language, you will not be able to study successfully in Germany and at the University of Bremen. It is therefore a requirement for enrollment in all undergraduate programs offered by the University that you can prove you have sufficient knowledge of German at least at C1 level. There are a few study programs for which lower levels are sufficient. Qualification Requirements
For each master's degree program, the requirements are laid down in subject-specific admission regulations. To apply for admission, you need a subject-related university degree at least at bachelor’s level. In addition, language skills, certain subject-related achievements, a letter of motivation, a certain average grade or participation in an admission test may also be required.
