Course description
The two-year master’s programme in Economics at the University of Bayreuth equips students with advanced economic analysis methods and their practical applications. Graduates gain a solid grasp of contemporary theoretical and empirical economic techniques, learning to apply these to real-world issues. Courses are delivered at a high academic standard, predominantly in English, with lecture and seminar materials also primarily in English. A degree (or completed course of studies) with an examination grade of “good” (2.5) or better in the bachelor’s programmes Economics, International Economics & Development, Business Administration, Philosophy & Economics, or Health Economics at the University of Bayreuth, or an equivalent degree Equivalency Equivalency of the completed bachelor's degree is the responsibility of the board of examiners and is not determined conclusively until the application process is under way; for this reason, no information can be provided in advance
