Course description

The University of Bamberg offers a professional development program in a blended-learning format, featuring the international Master’s programme "Educational Quality in Developing Countries" (IMPEQ). This program addresses the critical shortage of skills needed for educational quality development in developing countries, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. IMPEQ aims to equip education system leaders with comprehensive knowledge and leadership skills. These competencies are essential for driving change, designing, influencing, managing, and evaluating reform processes within their education systems. Additionally, the program fosters the development of qualified research capacities to support educational quality improvements in their respective countries. Participants in the IMPEQ program will gain the expertise necessary to make a significant impact on their education systems, ensuring they are well-prepared to lead and implement effective reforms.
