English language skills have to be verified by suitable tests, such as TOEFL IELTS Cambridge English If you have not taken an internationally recognised language test (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English) or if English proficiency at level C1 is not explicitly recorded on the certificate (or transcript of records) of your first university (Bachelor) degree, then C1 English language proficiency can be certified by a competent person (e.g. a qualified language teacher) who is officially able to professionally assess your proficiency in English. In this case, download the form (Proof of English Language Competence for Applicants) and ask a language teacher to fill in, sign, date and stamp the form.

Qualification Requirements

First degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in International Management or a field of business administration with a strong international orientation with 210 ECTS (3½ years). If you have a Bachelor's degree which accounts for less than 210 credits (3½ years), it will be checked whether you have to take a certain amount of bridging modules in order to achieve a total of 300 ECTS credits after completing the 90 ECTS credit Master programme in International Management. Bridging modules can be completed either before or during the Master's programme. The examination board determines the exams (modules) to be taken. We recommend modules from the higher semesters of the Bachelor programmes to graduates of Universities of Cooperative Education (Berufsakademien). University graduates are advised to complete more practical modules or even an internship in order to obtain the required ECTS credits.
