Course description
Geodesy is a diverse engineering field with a strong emphasis on mathematics and science. It focuses on acquiring, modeling, and processing spatial measurement data. This geodata is crucial for analyzing, structuring, and visualizing living spaces. Geodetic research spans from microscopic applications in medicine, vehicle navigation, and environmental monitoring to planning space missions for exploring and mapping other planets. In the English-language Master's degree course in Geodesy and Geoinformation Science, you will learn to develop and apply methods in engineering surveying, satellite geodesy, planetary and earth system research, computer vision, and 3D/4D modeling of the real world using geographical information systems.
