Course description
The Economics and Finance M.Sc. is a consecutive degree program that builds on your undergraduate studies in economics and business. It aims to deepen your existing knowledge while equipping you with advanced skills in finance and economics. This program will teach you the latest methods, applications, and models in economics, corporate finance, and international financial market analysis. You'll engage in experiments in game theory, behavioral economics, and empirical market analysis, honing a sophisticated research methodology. The multidisciplinary curriculum covers law, economic issues, macroeconomic, and social topics. Qualification Requirements
The three main requirements for admission to a master’s degree programme: A professionally qualifying first degree in the same or a related field to the desired master’s degree programme (required by § 49 section 7 of the Higher Education Act NRW(Hochschulgesetz)); The final cumulative grade for the professionally qualifying first degree must meet the minimum grade requirement set for the desired programme (refer to application process for master’s degree programmes); Language requirement: English language certificate for degree programmes taught in English, German language certificate for programmes in German. Please scan the following documents: your bachelor’s certificate with cumGPA (or, if not yet available, your final transcript with cumGPA proving that you have finished your studies) your module handbook or a description of the courses in your undergraduate studies a valid language certificate that meets the minimum language level requirement (see below) where appropriate: other documentation (for example of your internship, semester abroad, essay).
