Agriculture is thriving, yet global competition, resource scarcity, and rising demand present new challenges. To stay competitive, companies need specialists who understand not only agriculture and food industries but also regional development, sustainability management, and environmental policy. The Agribusiness B.A. program trains such specialists. Graduates combine business expertise with advanced management skills tailored to agricultural and nutritional sciences. In your studies, you'll delve into how companies can meet rising consumer expectations in the food industry and manage complex production logistics. You'll also practice building your own company. The program maintains close ties with regional agribusiness and agricultural institutions in Germany and abroad, ensuring that the knowledge and skills you gain are practical and industry-oriented. This hands-on experience is paired with a solid theoretical foundation, preparing you for a master’s degree if you choose to pursue one. Application Requirements

Language Requirements

If applying to a degree programme in English, you must submit a valid B2 English language certificate (not older than two year). Accepted certificates can be found here. German language certificates are not required to enrol in a degree programme taught in English. If applying to a degree programme taught in German please submit a valid German language certificate equivalent to CEF level B2

Qualification Requirements

Secondary school qualifications sufficient for admission to a German institute of higher education (university entrance qualification) English level B2 (with internationally recognised certificate) Completion of an 8-week internship. Note: this is not required for initial admission, but must be completed by the 4th semester in order to continue the second half of your studies.

Document Requirements

To ensure that the enrolment process runs smoothly, please be sure to bring all of the following documents: Your passport Proof of valid visa Your letter of admission (hard copy) The originals of all the documents that you uploaded to uni-assist (transcripts, diplomas, language certificates etc.) Proof of payment for the semester fee * Proof of appropriate health insurance coverage * 2 recent biometric passport photos If necessary, your exmatriculation certificate (only for applicants with previous semesters of study at a different German university) If necessary, a certificate of good standing (Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung – only for applicants who have previously studied in the same or a similar degree programme at a different German university)
