Course description

A sustainable future matters to you. You aim to take on responsibility while pursuing a career that aligns with your personal values. But what role do companies play during an ecological crisis? How can they drive transformative change? How can we create business models that are both profitable and sustainable? How can we shift the flow of money and influence consumer behavior globally? To tackle these questions, you want to apply business management, economic, psychological, and financial approaches within companies and organizations. This course blends management modules with a focus on sustainability. It starts with theoretical and political aspects of global responsibility, then moves to corporate and financial sustainability, and explores options for fairer, more sustainable value chains and consumer behavior. In this interdisciplinary course, you'll cover the basics of management, finance, consumer behavior, and various sustainability sciences. The emphasis is on applying your skills to real-world problems. During your semester abroad, you can deepen your expertise at one of our partner universities.

Language Requirements

For our Bachelor programs, your English language skills at level C1 must be proven by an IELTS certificate (min. 6.5 overall score), a TOEFL certificate (min. 100 points)

Proof of sufficient knowledge of English For our Bachelor programs, your English language skills at level C1 must be proven by an IELTS certificate (min. 6.5 overall score), a TOEFL certificate (min. 100 points), or the ISE III from Trinity College London. Applicants with a German Abitur already have the English language level B2 to C1. However, a mandatory Oxford online test must still be completed via the university.
