Course description

The Master's program in Dental Technology (MDT) at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main kicks off in April 2019. This international program offers advanced academic training in dental technology with a multidisciplinary approach. It’s a 120 ECTS part-time course, conducted entirely in English. Over three years, you’ll travel to Goethe University four times, each visit lasting 8-10 days. During these visits, you’ll attend face-to-face seminars, lectures, and hands-on training sessions. The Master in Dental Technology is tailored for dentists and dental technicians (Bachelor / “Zahntechnikermeister”) aiming to gain advanced qualifications in dental technology. The “Master of Science in Dental Technology” course aims to support the evolving role of dental professionals and enhance collaboration with treating dentists. Students will delve into assessment procedures, planning, and scientific evaluation of complex dental restorations. The program emphasizes the synergy of different treatment regimes and the digital optimization of existing therapies, focusing on scientific aspects.
