Course description
The master's program in English Studies requires students to choose a specialization in either literary studies or linguistics from the first semester. This program is designed for applicants who already hold a university degree, typically a BA, in their chosen field. Both specializations focus on scientific approaches, expecting students to be adept at research, employing various methods, and writing scholarly papers. Beyond the core training in literary studies or linguistics, the MA in English Studies encourages interdisciplinary methods and incorporates new cultural and teaching techniques. The program offers a diverse and comprehensive course selection, independent research modules, and an annual graduate conference organized by the students. These elements help students develop a unique academic profile, preparing them for further postgraduate studies or careers outside academia.
