Course description
Graduates of the American Studies bachelor's degree program gain foundational and advanced knowledge in their field. They can accurately understand and describe various aspects of American Studies. They explain core concepts and key questions within the sub-disciplines and develop inquiries related to America. Students learn to present American-related phenomena clearly and effectively, both in speech and writing. They analyze these phenomena using empirical data and research literature, fostering a multi- and interdisciplinary perspective. Graduates can identify American-related knowledge interests, research strategies, and methods, contributing to interdisciplinary dialogue. They understand the perspectives of different disciplines on the USA and the importance of building interdisciplinary connections.
