The study and examination languages in the master's degree program are English and German (in a few compulsory elective modules). • English language skills must be proven by: TOEFL (79 IBT or 550 PBT) or IELTS 6.5 or English native language or English-language bachelor's degree (from a country with English as an official language) or Cambridge certificates FCE, CAE, CPE with B2 or higher or English lessons at least from grade 8 up to the Abitur with a final grade of “good”. • International applicants without a German-speaking university entrance qualification must demonstrate German language skills exclusively using DSH1, Telc B1, TestDaF 3333 or Goethe-Zertificate B1.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related subject with a final grade of 2.50 or better. • English language skills at level B2 (see next field for details) • International applicants without a German-speaking university entrance qualification must provide evidence of German language skills at level B1 (see next field)
