Tübingen
Economics & Business Administration
Subjects: Economics;Business;Administration;Management
B.Sc. | Bachelor of Science
Course description
The B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration offers a comprehensive foundation in both fields. Through lectures, seminars, and exercises, you'll grasp essential economic terms, mechanisms, theories, and methods. By the end of the program, you'll be well-prepared to either step into a company or pursue a Master's degree. This program provides a broad range of options. Initially, you won't need to choose between business administration (Betriebswirtschaftslehre, BWL) and economics (Volkswirtschaftslehre, VWL). Instead, you'll study the basics of both. Starting in the third semester, you can specialize by selecting modules in either business administration or economics. From 2023, there's also a track that allows you to study both disciplines simultaneously. In your third year, the Area of Advanced Undergraduate Studies Elective Studies offers numerous options beyond economics. You can expand your knowledge by taking courses in political science, computer science, mathematics, law, psychology, or sociology. The Global Ethic Institute also provides various courses to help you gain a broader perspective. This program is designed to give you a solid grounding in economics and business administration, with the flexibility to tailor your studies to your interests and career goals.
