Course description
The English-taught Darmstadt M.Sc. Tropical Hydrogeology and Environmental Engineering (TropHEE) program blends a deep understanding of geoscientific principles with a focus on practical issues in hydrogeology and environmental management. TropHEE emphasizes methods and modern techniques that help participants develop sustainable solutions for tropical and subtropical regions from a geoscientific viewpoint. Within the framework of international development cooperation, TropHEE provides a thorough, research-oriented education in hydrogeology and environmental geosciences and engineering at the Master's level. Students must choose one of two specializations: "Hydrogeology" or "Environmental Engineering." The program covers a range of study subjects, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. By focusing on these areas, TropHEE aims to equip students with the skills needed to address environmental challenges effectively.

Qualification Requirements
. A degree B.Sc. Angewandte Geowissenschaften , B.Sc. Bauingenieurwesen und Geodäsie oder B.Sc. Umweltingenieurwissenschaften of TU Darmstadt (reference programme) or an equivalent degree proving geoscientific or civil engineering competences, or competences in a related subject on at least Bachelor level;
