Thanks to the rapid development in computer technology, electrical engineering has evolved into a comprehensive system technology with applications across almost all technical fields. At Christian Albrechts University of Kiel (CAU), you can pursue a master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. This program offers a broad range of specializations, allowing you to tailor your studies to your personal interests and strengths. The Faculty of Technology provides close support in planning and implementing your studies. You can focus on areas such as digital information technology, automation and control technology, or message transmission. Other possible specializations include renewable energies and power electronics, from microsystems to high-performance areas, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology ISIT.
