The University of Stuttgart was founded in 1829. This large university has over 25,700 students enrolled. 21.7% of the student body, around 5,580, come from outside of Germany to study. There are a total of 167 study programs available, of which 74 are for Bachelor's degrees and 93 are for Master's degrees. The university is made up of ten faculties, divided into 150 institutes.
