  • Monthly rents for student dorms range between €214 and €797, depending on the location and type of accommodation. Residences are spread across the city and are well-connected to public transport.
  • For more details, you can explore the student housing options here.

Private Accommodation

  • The Studierendenwerk also provides assistance with finding private housing and offers listings from private landlords. This is a helpful resource for those unable to secure a spot in a dormitory.
  • You can explore private accommodation options and get help from the university’s housing services here.

Other Options

  • There are private and church-operated dormitories available as well. While these may offer more options, they are also highly sought after, so early application is key.
  • The ERASMUS Accommodation Service is available for exchange students looking for off-campus housing in and around Heidelberg. This service is a good starting point for those coming through exchange programs.
