Constructor University Bremen is a research-oriented, state-recognized university with a broad range of programs ranging from the natural sciences, social sciences, to engineering and economics. Founded in 2001, Constructor University was recently ranked among the top five best young universities in Germany in the Times Higher Education Rankings. The university's strong international approach is reflected in the student body 80% of which come from outside Germany. 15 Bachelor and 4 Master degree courses are offered across three thematic study areas.

The thematic study areas are Mobility of People, Goods and Information (engineering and logistic courses), Health (natural science courses) and Diversity (business, social sciences and psychology courses). Along with the University of Bremen, Constructor is part of the joint graduate school, the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS). Many students also undertake the "Foundation Year" preparatory program for orientation and skill-building before starting an undergraduate degree.
Constructor University unites living and learning on a 34-hectares green, tree-shaded campus. There are many opportunities for activities outside of the classroom with a variety of over 50 clubs and more than 100 student-driven events during the year.
